Job DescriptionThe Solution Sales Executive - Community Health is an individual contributor role responsible for being a true hunter in a defined territory selling across the provider community space. This individual must have deep knowledge of Critical Access Hospitals, Independent Community Hospitals and how they are positioned in the U.S. healthcare market. A deep understanding of their pain points, infrastructure, purchasing process and how to create meaningful relationships across the entire organization is required. This position is responsible for leading a complex sales cycle which includes working closely with internal stakeholders such as: product development, IT, Training, Implementation, Client Experience and Marketing.
As part of the Butterfly team, core responsibilities will include:
- Ability to get in front of the health system "C-suite" and drive strategic conversations and presentations around a value proposition that creates immediate return for the organization
- Create a strategic sales plan, build pipeline, identify new sales opportunities within a territory, and close business to obtain a defined quota
- Manage a continuous forecast through Salesforce.com using Butterfly defined process and procedures for tracking opportunities, activities and tasks
- Vast knowledge and experience across the healthcare landscape, including: value-based care delivery, fee-for-service, technology integrations, physician work-flow and payers
- Be comfortable working in an entrepreneurial, agile and fast paced environment.
- Bachelor's Degree in business or related field required
- 5+ years of experience selling a mixture of both hardware and software products into into community health systems managing your own defined territory
- Contract and negotiating experience
- Strong rolodex of c-suite relationships within the healthcare market and the ability to leverage those relationships for new partnerships with Butterfly
- Outstanding written and verbal communication, customer service, relationships management, time management and team building skills
- Expert in administrative technology: Salesforce CRM, G Suite, Slack, Asana and other technology tools
- Advanced presentation skills and ability to craft and tailor compelling value propositions to diverse Healthcare stakeholders
- Strong ability and a proven track record managing a quota and pipeline
- Ability to travel up to 60%
- Intellectually curious, strategic, and thrive on diving into complex problems, being able to develop and articulate clear fact-driven recommendations
- Experience in a fast-paced startup a plus
- Experience exceeding sales targets with a proven ability to generate in excess of $5 million in revenue sales per annum
