Description:
Assists in designing, modifying, and constructing software to support test and evaluation of systems. Design criteria are not always standardized or well established and/or the objective may be improvement and updating of existing software to incorporate new advances where existing technical data is not always adequate. Evaluates test results and analyzes data for trends and performance. Consults with instrumentation specialists, design personnel, maintenance and support personnel, computer system administrators, information assurance personnel, and mathematicians in developing details of the project. Prepares, coordinates and/or reviews the preparation of portions of written plans, schedules and milestones for accomplishing goals.

Qualifications:
Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) credential required, Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE) credential preferred with six years of experience in programming or analysis of real- time systems. Or a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field plus four years of experience. At least two years of experience in software testing or analysis of test documentation or data. Familiarity required with DOD test philosophy and/or system acquisition. Must understand resource requirements for testing of military software systems including data collection, reductions, and/or analysis. Secret security clearance is required.
