Software Test Automation Lead / QA

Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) is seeking an outstanding Software Test Automation Lead to play a key role in developing industry-leading HPE cloud-based services. You will help automate software for HPE that provides its product offerings as a service directly consumable by a wide variety of customers.

You will be joining an agile, empowered organization, focused on providing business value by rapidly creating and demonstrating new approaches to deliver HPE products to customers.

How you’ll make your mark:

• Work with technologists, architects, and product managers across the organization to define and architect processes for delivering reliable services
• Work with team members to identify, architect, and implement test automation solutions
• Work side-by-side with programmers in scrum teams developing SaaS software
• Provide guidance and mentoring to team members to improve overall testing including unit, integration, and system test.
• Architect and develop end-to-end tests for non-functional requirements such as scale, performance, and security
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent.
• Typically 6-10 years experience.

Knowledge and Skills: // About You:

• A solid track-record of shipping software products in multiple delivery environments
• Extensive experience testing and automated testing of software applications and services
• Experience in testing container technologies (docker, Kubernetes)
• Excellent coding skills (GoLang, Python) and experience with Unix/Linux OS/bash
• Extensive experience with REST APIs
• Strong debugging experience on microservices-based implementations utilizing public/private/hybrid cloud
• Some knowledge of management of data center physical infrastructure such as servers, storage arrays, and/or network switches
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Innovative thinker who can lead architecture and development of new features
• Team player with a passion for learning, programming, automation, and data analytics
• Experience with agile development (Scrum, Kanban, etc.) and Test Automation (unit, integration, system)
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills and a demonstrated ability to collaborate across teams and organization
