The RoleThe Software Systems Advisor works as a technical resource in selling and implementing our software suite to customers. The Software Systems Advisor understands the capabilities of the software suite including Warehouse Management System (WMS), Warehouse Enterprise System (WES), Labor Management System (LMS) among others, and can explain the differences and capabilities to customers. The Advisor will answer Requests for Proposal (RFP), Request for Information (RFI) and other documentation potential customers may use during the sales process, as well as specify customer configurations and implementation details. We will rely on the Advisor’s ability to interface with customer IT/systems departments and project implementation teams. Who you are

• Knowledge of WMS Software Capabilities – Minimum 3 years required
• IT/Software Design/Implementation Experience - Desired
• Logistics/Supply Chain Knowledge/Training – 3-5 years required
• Excellent communication skills
• Working knowledge of process design, hardware and network design and databases
• Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, or Supply Chain degree preferred

What we need

• Analyze and define requirements for software solutions for enterprise level WMS and/or Supply Chain Execution Systems
• Work with Project Engineers to identify and document prospective customer process flows to identify all “green” and exception paths
• Create IT requirement specifications for projects
• Design software, hardware, and network solutions based on project requirements and the existing product offerings
• Frequently communicate and meet with customers to ensure the specification satisfies customer expectations
• Work with Client Services and Operations to ensure continued customer success
• Advise Technical Writers, as the subject matter expert for our own software implementation and that of others
• Actively communicate with team members about the work and project status
• Work with Project Engineers to setup and execute test scenarios for commissioning
• May travel internationally for training and project assignments
• Travel is dependent on stage of engagement and could be from 40-90%
