Summary:

BIT Dealership Software is growing and needs a Software Support Consultant to advise boat, RV and powersports dealers and marinas on the use of our business management and point of sale system. We are passionate about helping our customers manage and grow their business and are looking for someone who wants to grow with us. The ideal candidate is knowledgeable about business and accounting processes and enjoys helping small businesses gain efficiency through implementation of systems and processes while working as part of a fun team.

This is not Tech Support

It is not important if you know any programming languages or can manage a network. We want someone with enjoys problem solving and has an understanding of how information moves around a well-run business.

You will be responsible for:

• Providing support and training to clients of business management software via phone, email, online and potentially in person
• Advising on proper use of the software, utilizing business process and accounting knowledge, troubleshooting/logic skills, and follow-up skills
• Maintaining high standards of courtesy, listening skills, and rapport-building, while managing customer expectations and juggling multiple priorities
• Working with the software development team to find solutions to customer issues and testing software enhancements

You must have:

• Familiarity with basic accounting logic and standard business processes and operations of a retail store or dealership
• Ability to define and solve problems using logic and creativity
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite and QuickBooks
• Experience working with and contributing to a team
• Commitment to continuous improvement

And it would be a plus to have:

• Familiarity with QuickBooks or similar accounting software
• Experience developing and maintaining customer relationships
• Background in software support
