Position Overview

As a Software Program Manager you will be responsible for a suite of software products, including final product and project outcomes, from ideation to post-installation customer success management. You will work with various stakeholders across the company to ensure the software development team understands the requirements, at the most detailed level and assist in prioritization of upcoming projects. In this role, you are leading software development projects and bringing domain expertise and project management skills to make sure the optimal solution is delivered.
Responsibilities and Job Duties
o Facilitate production between front end and back end teams, as well as actively working with the hardware team to develop “Smart Hardware” products
o Interact directly with prospective and current customers to resolve issues and collaborate on product education, integration, and deployment
o Assist in technical product training for sales and technical sales personnel
o Lead software development projects and bringing domain expertise and project management skills to ensure the optimal solution is delivered.
o Close communication and collaboration in bringing product ideas and requirements through development
o Deliver the required product features and documentation to sales, service, or other departments as needed
o Work closely with the product development and engineering teams to provide feedback to influence the future product roadmap
o Provide management and other stakeholders with regular and clear project status overviews
o Represent the customer’s needs throughout the development project and be the customer’s first point of contact in development, deployment, and installation phases
o Collaborate heavily with product development and engineering teams to ensure the best idea always wins
Qualifications and Skills
o Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or similar
o 5+ years of software project management experience, with healthcare focus (not required)
o AWS experience
o Product/system architecture experience
o Full-stack qualifications with experience managing integration between front end and back end teams
o Experience in Swift and general iOS app deployment (Xcode development, App Store review process and policies, Apple partnership best practices)
o Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills
o Ability to assemble prioritization criteria, resolve conflicting views, and lead cross-functional decisions
o Ability to think big picture, integrating multiple efforts together to align strategy with execution
o Ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional, cross-organization teams to negotiate and assemble project plans, secure commitments on deliverables, and resolve blocking issues
o Analytical and quantitative skills; ability to use data and metrics to back up assumptions and develop business cases
o Ability to establish metrics and regular reporting mechanisms for measuring security posture
o Exercise influence to drive strategic alignment while ensuring consistent delivery excellence
o Resolve conflicting priorities and business interests by being firmly in the weeds with your partners and stakeholders
o Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and propose and implement solutions
o Identify process and project improvement areas, propose solution, carry through to roll-out
o Strong facilitation and presentation skills
o Naturally accountable, responsible, and self-motivated
o Flexible and quick to adapt to sudden changes and issues
