Software Engineering Internship

Job summary: The Red Hat Ceph Engineering team is looking for a Software Engineering Intern to join us in Boston, MA. In this role, you will join a team responsible for Red Hat's premier software-defined storage offerings Red Hat Ceph Storage and Red Hat OpenShift Container Storage. As a member of that team, you will be learning about Red Hat Ceph Storage and helping continuously improve these offerings. As the Red Hat Ceph Engineering team is globally distributed, good communication skills are essential.Primary job responsibilities:

• Develop new features for Red Hat Ceph Storage
• Review pull requests, write unit tests, and assist in design reviews
• Respond on community mailing lists and be part of other activities associated with large, successful open source projects

Required skills:

• Knowledge of C++, Python, Golang, and Git
• Good communication skills in English
