Seeking talented Software Engineer:

This position is on the MARK IV-B AF Weather program which receives and processes data from satellites for the US Air Force. This position will design, develop, document, test, and debug Windows software which communicates with RF related hardware. This includes software related to control and status of Antenna Hardware, control and status of RF Processing Hardware, and additional hardware related to RF and internet data paths. This position will have a wide range of interactions at various program levels including customer and vendors. This is a great opportunity to join one of Lockheed Martin’s most successful programs.

Position is contingent on program award anticipated April 2021
Basic Qualifications:
  • Experience with C++
  • Experience with Hardware Interfaces
  • Problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Outstanding team orientation.
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills
Desired Skills:
  • Working knowledge/experience with C#
  • Knowledge/Experience of antenna control
  • Solid communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Networking knowledge
  • Ability to collaborate with a team of developers
  • Ability to reframe the issue to find a solution when roadblocks arise
  • Windows OS experience, Windows internals
  • Computer Science, Math, Physics Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
