What you will get to do:
As a Cirrus Software Engineering Intern, you will work on one of our Product teams to build front-and-backend systems, services, and APIs powering the next generation of traffic management software solutions. You will have an opportunity to use a wide array of AWS services to build real-time streaming applications, analytics, and data visualizations that will revolutionize roadway safety and traffic management. You will learn, you will code, and you will have an impact on the lives of millions of people. In this role, you will:
- Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Design to build new features, enhancements, and capabilities
- Learn from Engineering leaders about software architecture and technical design best practices
- Ask questions, make suggestions, and implement improvements to current software and processes
What You’ll Bring:
- Willingness to learn, to ask questions, and to provide tangible improvements to the product
- A “Get Stuff Done” mentality and a bias for action
- Prior experience in backend languages like NodeJS, Python, and Go or frontend technologies like React, AngularJS, and Vue
- Passion for user experience and for continuous improvement
