About the Role:

Do you thrive in playing a pivotal role in an organization where you help solve challenging technical problems, develop solutions that directly impact the business and its customers? We are looking for our newest skilled and dynamic Java Developer. You will bring your real-world knowledge deploying and building microservices to our team and will build applications/tools to support our fast growing Unified Communications company.

This role will be directly leading a project to move existing functionality from legacy systems to microservice architecture. You will have significant opportunity to contribute to the design and architecture of the system as well as help facilitate technical decisions, issues, etc. with our international development teams.

What you will bring to the role:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and/or work experience
• 5 years experience in Java 8 or greater
• CI/CD Pipeline experience
• Microservices: Experience w/ container-based development
• Solid background in developing on Linux
• Experience working with SQL (Oracle, MySQL or MS SQL )
• Excellent analysis, design, and communication skills, both written and verbal
• Interest in working with international teams
• Self-motivated and detail-oriented
• Understanding and appreciation of good code management practices

• Web service development experience with REST, SOAP (JAX-RS,JAX-WS)
• Spring framework/Spring Boot
