Electronic Combat Solutions (ECS) has technology, engineering and program teams that educate and mentor colleagues to deliver leading Electronic Warfare capabilities. Because of the need for consistent, in-person collaboration and/or the requirement to perform all work onsite due to the nature of this particular role, it will be performed full-time on site. This means work will be conducted on location at a BAE Systems facility 100% of the time.
BAE Systems is looking for a Software Configuration Analyst to join our team.
In this role, the successful candidate will be responsible for executing all Software Configuration Management (SCM) activities per the SCM Plan and BAE policies, practices and requirements.
Essential Functions are:
1. Exercise discretion and independent judgment in the performance of duties set forth in Section II above.
2. Communicate effectively both orally and in writing;
3. Exhibit sound interpersonal skills involving interfacing, coordinating and negotiating with company personnel, customers and suppliers;
4. Utilize computer skills to prepare appropriate reports and documents;
5. Make decisions using sound judgment while complying with policies, procedures, appropriate principles and applicable state and federal laws and regulations;
6. Analyze, evaluate, develop and implement processes and systems within budget and adhere to time requirements and schedule;
7. Design and develop products and services using state-of-the-art technology, principles, theories and concepts.)

BAE Systems is looking for a Software Configuration Analyst to join our team.
In this role, the successful candidate will be responsible for executing all Software Configuration Management (SCM) activities per the SCM Plan and BAE policies, practices and requirements.
- Within Engineering performing SCM tasks including identification, change management, status accounting, audit and verification.
- Establishes and manages tool specific software libraries. Performs and documents all required builds to ensure reproducible software configuration baselines. Executes release and change control functions using the designated SCM system/tool in order to insure software product integrity and meet program schedules.
- Generates and maintains all necessary program software development, release, and change records, including "as built" and status accounting records. Performs SCM Configuration Control Board activities which include, but are not limited to, establishing the agenda, recording approvals/non-approvals, and publishing and maintaining action items lists.
- Develops proficiency in the use of the assigned SCM system/tool, and comprehensive knowledge of company software configuration management processes and standards. Stays abreast of industry standards and current technology. Performs all necessary functions to support both internal and customer design reviews.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills
- Bachelors degree or equivalent experience
- Strong Microsoft Office Skills
- US citizen eligible for a DoD security clearance
- Must be able to obtain Security + Certification
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
- Two or more years related experience.
- Active Secret clearance
- Active Security + Certification (will be required to obtain)
- Experience with basic computer applications, databases, operating systems, and hardware.
- Experience with the use of process-specific tools depending upon individual assignment, e.g., CM tool such as Git, BitBucket, Jira, ClearCase and ClearQuest strongly preferred.
- Experience with the performance of moderately complex systems administration tasks for these tools or for PCs.
