Responsibilities
- Performs bio-psychosocial evaluations.
- Provides individual and/or group therapy using various modalities.
- Assesses and provides crisis intervention for Soldiers.
- Evaluate treatment effectiveness to make adjustments to patient's treatment plan as appropriate.
- Provide specialized intervention for patients with a broad range of behavioral health problems (e.g., depression, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and anxiety.)
Occasional travel - Up to 5% business travel may be required.

Basic Requirement for Social Worker (Clinical):
Degree: Master's degree (or higher degree) in social work from a school accredited by the Council on Social Work Education.
In addition to meeting the basic requirement above, to qualify for this position you must also meet the qualification requirements listed below:
Experience required: To qualify based on your experience, your resume must describe at least one year of experience which prepared you to do the work in this job.
Specialized experience is defined as: performing bio-psychosocial evaluations, performing crisis intervention services, and providing individual and/or group therapy. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11).Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify.
For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone-no substitution of education for experience is permitted.
Licensure: A current, active, valid, unrestricted clinical license to practice Social Work independently, offered by a U.S. State, District of Columbia, commonwealth, territory or jurisdiction.
