Job Description
Job Summary:
Nammo is seeking a highly-motivated individual for the role of Social Media Specialist to promote the company’s image, as well as creatively develop and proactively manage social media engagement, monitoring, reporting and analysis.

It is the responsibility of this role is to support Communications and Marketing initiatives, including company events and announcements using social media to elevate the Nammo brand. This is an opportunity to create new social media awareness as part of the Communications, Marketing and Business Development team while imagining and building a new function that supports both brand and business goals. As a stellar writer, creative thinker and competent communicator, the Social Media Specialist will use strategic content development and storytelling skills to position Nammo as a market leader.

Primary Responsibilities:
Develop and implement digital marketing strategy, advising on the proper tools/technology/techniques for the most effective social media engagement.

Build and execute social media strategies and campaigns to support overall company’s business/marketing/community objectives.

Work with company leaders and subject matter experts to develop, publish and manage, daily relevant content to cultivate ongoing brand awareness, increase market share and engage followers.

Develop and expand partnerships with business partners, customers, decision-makers and brand advocates

Work with Communications and Marketing leaders to create and maintain social medial platforms, to identify potential influencers, and to propose proposing/organizing meetings/activities to support the business.

In support of Marketing management provide assistance with branding + marketing initiatives and activities – including conventions, exhibits, events, demonstrations and trade shows.

Formulate strategic social media communications plans and own a calendar of narratives to generate social media engagement around key times of year, marketing campaigns, business events and product-related news
Work with Communications, Marketing and executive leadership to drive employee engagement as brand ambassadors.

Able to advise on social media presence of business senior leadership, helping to grow, enhance, and promote their presence and thought leadership digitally.

Monitor industry news and use social media channels to amplify on relevant trends, report on customer events/use of Nammo products.

Track, monitor and evaluate placements, news & information and produce monthly coverage reports; develop success metrics.

Effectively use writing skill, photo/video capture and edit capability to develop content for use in social media and other applications.

Travel within the US and potentially internationally is required; must hold a valid Passport or be able to apply for one

Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements, Education & Skills:
BA or BS in communication, journalism, marketing, business, public administration
1-3 years of experience in social media and influencer marketing

Excellent time management skills, highly organized and detail-oriented with ability to manage multiple projects and tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Intermediate to Proficient knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Spark, Premier Pro)

Knowledge of defense industry and ammunitions is a not required but a plus.

Able to work in various conditions which can include being around loud noises and outdoor environments.

Able to regularly lift, carry, move, haul, transport boxes/items over 30+lbs.
