Snack Bar Attendant - Beach Pavillion

Position: Beach Snack Bar Front Counter Attendant

Status: Part-Time

Reports To: Recreation Director

Supervises: There are not any supervisory responsibilities included in this position.

Hours/Schedule: As Required

Job Summary: Responsible for entering orders into the POS system and ensuring orders are properly served. Maintains cleanliness of the service area.

Job Responsibilities:

The Beach Snack Bar Front Counter Attendant has these Operational Responsibilities:

• Enters all member charges into the Point of Sale System; completes a ?Servers Report?, attaches paper tickets and remits to accounting; ensures all tickets in numerical sequence are included.
• Ensures orders are properly served.
• Gathers all supplies and small wares needed to prepare food.
• Serves items in accordance with established portion and presentation standards.
• Ensures that food service is on a timely basis.
• Keeps service area clean.
• Uses food service equipment according to manufacturers? instructions.
• Sets up, maintains and breaks down service area.
• Ensures that all items needed for food service are in stock; includes items on the inventory sheet when supplies are low.
• Notifies the Recreation Director or the Beach Kitchen Supervisor in advance of expected shortages.
• Maintains security and safety in the work area.
• Ensures that work area and equipment are clean and sanitary.
• Understands and follows proper sanitation practices including those for personal hygiene.
• Adhere to state and local health and safety regulations.
• Makes recommendations for the maintenance, repair and upkeep of kitchen equipment.
• Wraps, labels, dates and neatly stores re-usable leftover products.
• Cleans all soiled utensils and other items as needed.
• Cleans work station.
• Ensures that the storage area is neat and that all condiments and products are stored properly.
• Consistently complies with the Club?s policies and procedures for the service of alcoholic beverages to members and guests.
• Maintains the standard of service and ethics that is consistent with what is expected at Grandfather Golf and Country Club.
• Completes other appropriate tasks as assigned by the Recreation Director, Beach Kitchen Supervisor and/or the Executive Chef.
