This position will support the B-2 Program as part of the Fighters & Bombers Directorate. Duties include:

  • Apply T&E knowledge and experience to support systems and subsystems development, procurement, and sustainment activities throughout their life cycles; this includes pre/post award project/program T&E tasks.
  • Assist in the designing, planning, execution, analysis and reporting phases of T&E programs (including any applicable military certifications and procedures) to assess the performance of aeronautical systems, subsystems, and equipment as they progress through the various acquisition phases and milestones.
  • Assist in reviewing/developing/updating applicable program documentation for T&E management requirements across the full spectrum of actions required to award contracts to include, but not limited to: pre-award documentation, development of evaluation criteria, evaluation of weapon system contractor proposals to ensure compliance with programmatic requirements, and post-award documentation actions.
  • Support all aspects of the B-2 enterprise and individual test program ITT activities as needed, including interaction with other test organizations including but not limited to B-2 Combined Test Force, Office Secretary of Defense or the Director of Operational Test and Evaluation, and the 72nd Test Wing.
  • Recommend, assess, and assist in analyzing requirements and objectives, T&E concepts, strategies, and plans. The Contractor shall assist with the Acceptance Test Procedures (ATP) for delivered items and associated plans to include coordination of testing requirements with program office customers, contractors, and other agencies.
  • Provide technical analysis support in planning, conducting and participating in PMRs, TRRs, TIM, ICWG, SRR, configuration management reviews/audits, and other technical/programmatic forums as required.
  • Have expertise in the SEEK EAGLE stores certification process, Non-Nuclear Munitions Safety Board processes, test and systems engineering including flutter, loads, stability and control, dynamic response, and stores separation.
  • Support SEEK EAGLE stores certification management and systems engineering for aircraft, including flutter, loads, stability and control, dynamic response, and stores separation. The Contractor shall assist in managing the collection of any flight test data required to support SEEK EAGLE stores certification.

Required Skills/Education:

  • Fifteen (15) years' experience in functional area and possess a Bachelor's degree in a field relevant to functional area; or a relevant Master's degree and twelve (12) years' experience in functional area; or twenty (20) years in functional area without a degree. At least five (5) years of that experience must have been performed on DoD programs/projects.
  • Ten (10) years’ of Test and Evaluation experience including experience in managing system platforms.
