Minimum qualifications:

- Experience in virtualization or Cloud architectures in a customer-facing or support role
- Experience in performing technical presentations or public speaking
Preferred qualifications:
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical field
- Experience with Business Intelligence tools with a physical model

- Experience responding to functional and technical elements of Requests for Proposals (RFPs)

As a member of Looker's Enterprise Sales Engineering team, you will be a technical advocate for customers. You will work to understand customer needs and demonstrate how Looker can add value to their data workflows. You will partner with business counterparts to expand relationships and cultivate business growth. You will help shape our product roadmap based on the needs of customers and expand your knowledge in data discovery and analysis.

Responsibilities- Develop customized presentations, demonstrations, and prototypes of our software to articulate use cases and value to customers.
- Participate in promoting the value of Looker’s products using multiple channels, including phone, presentation, and live online and in-person product demonstrations.
- Manage customer trials, ensuring engagement with products, trials, and resulting solutions.
- Articulate and educate a variety of audiences (e.g., developers, architects, and IT professionals) on technical and architectural concepts.
- Respond to functional and technical elements of RFPs, leveraging and building on existing knowledge.
