Job Description for Global Operations Lead - Site Reliability Engineering (SRE)
This is a Sr. SRE manager role in the MxDR engineering team based out of North America responsible for leading global SRE operations. Embodying a Servant Leadership philosophy, you will help build a culture of speed, innovation, collaboration, and ownership moving forward. You will be responsible for building a strong team of contributors who work well together and raise the bar for a good working environment. As an engineering leader, you will report to the Director of engineering and will:
- Focus on the organizational health while meeting or exceeding engineering deliverable goals. This includes working across the organization and time zones (NAM and the globe) for collaboration
- Provide coaching, mentorship and leadership to the teams and motivate them to perform at their best
- Collaborate closely with senior technical leadership, product owners and other engineering teams drive the operational and observability capabilities of the MxDR Platform and Services.
- Leading teams responsible for customer facing platform, applications, and services in a 24x7x365 environment.
- Take ownership in driving and evolving the roadmap for the SRE Organization: particularly in the areas of infrastructure automation, observability, and AI Ops
- Design & map Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) to achieve organization mission
- Leading teams focused on building scalable cloud-based solutions
- Strong written & verbal communication and organizational skills are essential
- Bring optimization and effectiveness in process and delivery of work
Basic Qualifications:
- 7+ years of experience in management of reliability engineers and engineering teams in a distributed capacity
- 5+ years of experience of leading teams via Agile process (Scrum, Kanban, Scrumban)
- 5+ years of experience of leading teams in an Amazon Web Services (AWS) environment
- 5+ years of experience in leading teams with a focus on CICD
- 5+ years of proven experience working effectively with distributed teams across North America and/or India and other countries around the globe
Preferred Qualifications:
- BS Degree in Computer Science or related technical field or equivalent practical knowledge
- Demonstrable ability to deliver large scale solutions that are easily understandable, maintainable, and diagnosable
- Experience with deploying, supporting, and monitoring new and existing services, platforms, and application stacks
- Experience analyzing complex application, database, network, and OS issues across a distributed large scale customer facing system
- Experience with DevOps tools, processes, and culture
- Experience with security compliance programs such as ISO, PCI, SOC 1 & 2, is strongly preferred
- Experience in CyberSecurity industry
- Strong organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Detail orientation and experience balancing multiple tasks and deadlines
- Ability interact with internal and external stakeholders at executive level
- Experience working with technical teams to build technology-based tools/solutions that will reduce costs and improve the overall program
- Experience in understanding test metrics, release process and developing them
- Proven successful delivery through professional software engineering practices & best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations

As required by the Colorado Equal Pay Transparency Act, Accenture provides a reasonable range of minimum compensation for roles that may be hired in Colorado. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific office location. For the state of Colorado only, the range of starting pay for this role is $193,800 - $241,099 and information on benefits offered is here.
Education Statement:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years) work experience. (If Associate’s Degree, must have minimum 6 years work experience)
