Job Description
We are looking for drivers to operate a van used to transport employees between the Shoreline parking structure and entrance of Huntsman Cancer Institute. There is a morning shift running from 6am to 10am and an afternoon/evening shift running from 3pm to 7pm.
The ideal candidate will be someone who is a good, safe driver, is reliable and professional, and who can offer great customer service to passengers.

Driver must be at least 20 years old.
A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) is NOT required for this position.Responsibilities Essential Functions
  • Operates University vans (minivan or regular sized 8-passenger van) to shuttle riders between the Shoreline parking structure and the entrance to Huntsman Cancer Institute.
  • Will sometimes pick up passengers along the route.
  • Will drive the van in a manner that is safe both to the passengers and also to the pedestrians who share the route the van will be driving.
  • Will take turns filling van with gas, as needed.
  • Alerts supervisor of any mechanical problems with the van.
  • May perform physical labor related to helping passengers in and out of a van and with snow removal from the van’s exterior.
  • Other duties as assigned.

A Commercial Driver’s License with a chauffeur’s endorsement may be required if the job responsibilities require the exclusive transportation of passengers, such as for the shuttle bus or VA van.
