Showroom Sales Assistant

Confluence Kitchen & Bath, a locally owned and operated kitchen and bath design center, is looking for a full-time sales assistant with 1-2 years of customer service background and a strong desire to learn and grow in the interior design industry.

Duties consist of greeting clients, directing clients to the appropriate specifier or designer, keeping the showroom organized, assisting staff when asked and walk-in sales. This person must be personable, and outgoing.

This position requires a prompt, organized individual that is comfortable with computer use and able to multi-task in a busy and active environment. An interest in interior design -- specifically kitchens and bathrooms -- is a plus. Advancement within the company is possible and encouraged.

Duties & Tasks:

• Greeting clients
• Screening clients to determine best person to assist them
• Answer phone calls
• Showroom organization and product labels/signs
• Floor sales
• Aid Specifiers with Specification Books or Other Information Gathering to Close the Sale
• Client troubleshooting including vendor contact -- missing parts, defects, order replacements
• Resource library maintenance
• Tracking orders
• Sample organization and inventory
• Assist with Social Media and Marketing Initiatives
• Other related duties as assigned

• Computer literate: Outlook, QuickBooks, MS Office, etc.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $34,000.00 per year
