job purpose: The Shopper Marketing Manager will be responsible for planning, executing, measuring, and optimizing annual shopper marketing plans for the fairlife portfolio across two channels. This role requires a passionate, organized shopper marketing leader that is interested in collaborating with sales partners for shared success. This individual will work cross-functionally with multiple fairlife teams, the Coca-Cola Company, and with our most valued retail partners. Additionally, this role will manage a portion of the shopper marketing budget, collaborate with creative agencies to develop creative, and measure success.
responsibilities:
- Plan and Execute Shopper Marketing Strategies and Programs
- Develop winning portfolio shopper strategies and plans that are grounded in consumer insights, informed by customer objectives, and aligned with brand strategies
- Partner with and support the National Retail Sales organization, working with e-Commerce, Customer Commercial and Coca-Cola Shopper Marketing teams, to incorporate exceptional shopper programs into the overall fairlife portfolio Joint Business Plans
- Leads in-market execution of all shopper programming and measures their effectiveness in a spirit of constant iteration and optimization
- Display customer/channel expertise
- Stay up to date on the strongest tactics and programs at key customers and in key channels
- Monitor competitive activity for what can be learned
- Communication of Shopper Programs, Results, and Opportunities
- Ensure sales partners are aware and aligned to shopper programming
- Analyze and share out program results and performance with sales, commercial, and brand
- Budget Management
- Maintain part of shopper marketing budget ensuring accurate records, timely invoicing, and remaining within approved spend level
skills/qualifications required:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, or related field required; MBA preferred
- 3-5+ years of strong CPG brand marketing experience in the areas of shopper marketing
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively across networked organizations in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
- Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to influence and collaborate with customers, sales partners, and brand partners
- Fluent with data and measurement as a means of assessing program success or optimizations
- Ability to manage multiple and conflicting agendas
- Proven track record for planning and executing shopper programs that drive sales results
- Ability to travel up to 30%, including occasional weekends and evenings
