What You'll Do
  • Champion and ensure adherence to CMC’s Guiding Principles, Code of Conduct, Culture, and policies and procedures
  • Participates in the CMC Safety Programs and proactively upholds the CMC Safety Culture
  • Supervise the production operators as they shear, bend, and load rebar to customer specifications
  • Meet or exceed safety, production, quality, and inventory management targets set by management
  • Set clear objectives and hold employees accountable
  • Ensure and facilitate the training of new employees
  • Ensure that business is conducted with the highest standards of quality and integrity
  • Act as liaison between Senior Management and subordinate levels to inform personnel of communications, decisions, and policies
What You'll Need
  • Minimum 2 years experience in rebar shop operations, preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to communicate up, down, and across the business
  • Team building and supervisory skills leading project teams and comfortable with supervising technical and non-technical personnel
  • Customer service focused and collaborative as appropriate with internal and external customers
  • Proficiency in computer applications such as Internet, E-mail, Word and Excel is vitality important
  • Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 lbs
Your Education
  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience is required
