Summary*:
The Shipping/Receiving Technician I will assist in the coordination of daily Shipping and Receiving workflow. Duties will include shipments of outgoing material, supplies, and product and incoming receipts of the same. The position requires a highly motivated, positive individual that can work both independently and in a “team” environment. Shipping/Receiving Technician I level employees will be expected to perform all job duties in the areas they are assigned under basic supervision. They will stay on task and complete quality work with accurate documentation. He/she will be a valuable and trustworthy asset to their work area through quality work of trained processes. This individual must be dedicated to the success of CSI and its quest to continually improve its operations, as well as perform duties to manufacture CSI products, meeting FDA, OSHA, GMP/MDD and ISO 9000 compliance requirements.

Qualifications*:

  • High School diploma / GED required
  • Must have at least 1 year of Shipping & Receiving or Warehouse experience
  • Basic computer skills
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English
  • Basic math skills
  • Good written and oral communications
  • Ability to understand processes
  • Knowledge of current safety guidelines
  • Ability to interface with a variety of people
  • Ability to follow work direction and stay on task
  • Must be able to work overtime
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. consistently
  • Ability to go up and down ladders/lifts up to 30 ft.

Responsibilities*:

  • Prepare outgoing shipments
  • Process incoming receipts
  • Stock and count inventory
  • Review documentation for accuracy
  • Perform Shipping/Receiving processes in order to meet customer requirements
  • Responsible and reliable attendance and punctuality
  • Able to participate as a team player
  • Work responsibly by following all Company policies and procedures
  • Complete operations with good quality
  • Fill out paperwork legibly and accurately
  • Perform additional duties as assigned or apparent
  • Consistently produce high quality work at or above standards
