Description:

Allied Plastics is a Custom Plastic Thermoforming Manufacturer located in Twin Lakes, WI. The Shipping/Receiving Clerk is responsible for the day to day support with the Shipping/Receiving department at Allied Plastics, Inc.

Schedule: 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM Monday to Friday

Pay: To be determined

Shipping / Receiving Clerk Duties and Responsibilities

  • Utilize ERP system (Epicor)
  • Coordinate dock appointments with inbound carriers
  • Understand and follow a quality system and ISO procedures
  • Conduct physical inventory counts when deemed necessary
  • Prepare customer orders for shipments
  • Determine method of shipment
  • Coordinate freight carrier arrangements and quotes
  • Examine outgoing shipments to ensure shipments meet specifications
  • Maintain an inventory of shipping materials and supplies
  • Keep and maintain a safe and organized work area with Five (5)S program
  • Match packers with purchase order paperwork
  • Prepares export shipping documents
  • Operates Forklift truck or uses hand truck
  • Accurately receives product against the purchase order
  • Organizes product in order by date/lot #
  • And other related/additional tasks as needed
. Requirements:

Shipping / Receiving Qualifications

  • 1 – 2 years of Shipping / Receiving experience
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Able to interact and communicate well with Management, Supervisors, and all other employees
  • Self-starter / motivated to succeed
  • Comfortable with Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Completed High School Diploma or GED
  • Able to communicate, read, and write in English
