• Maintaining advanced engineering and manufacturing facilities in WI & IL.

Position Summary:

Accurately package products per customer specifications, to be shipped via UPS or truck, while meeting on-time delivery, productivity, safety, quality, and housekeeping metrics.

Essential Functions:

1. Collect part bins brought forth by the operator for outside shipping process.

2. Accurately operate scales to weigh parts.

3. Operation of label computer/printer to print barcodes and/or other labels as needed for job traveler identification.

4. Operation of computer software for various tasks.

5. Understand and fill out shop travelers accurately.

6. Notify supervisor of wrong parts, mixed parts or shortage of parts.

7. Operation of tape machine, tape gun or stapler to erect and close boxes for shipment.

8. Keep label printers clean and maintained.

9. Keep work areas, aisles and around bins clean and free of parts on the floor.

10. Participate as a Trainer when necessary.

11. Load/Unload Truck Shipments

12. Schedule truck shipments

13. Schedule same day drop shipments

14. Count/verify out going outside processing orders

15. Key outside processing quantities in Syspro

16. Forward travelers & prints to Iron Ridge

17. Material Handler/Production Floor support

18. Distribute raw material to operators as needed

19. Maintain raw material inventory

20. Maintain raw material scrap and/or credit from vendors

21. Ship/schedule package pick-up via UPS, Fed-Ex as needed

22. Overlook/maintain daily checklist for proper operation of forklifts

23. Schedule misc. pick-ups (oily water/non-ferrous scrap)

24. Maintain office/safety/daily supplies for Broadview plant

25. Organize and send out mail/invoice to accounts payable (Watertown)

All other duties as assigned.

Required Skill, Education and Experience

• Basic reading/writing/math skills
• Shipping experience required
• Computer skills
• Ability to focus and prioritize task and objectives
• Good communication skills
• Ability to lift/pull up to forty (40) pounds
