Shipping And Receiving Clerk

Our Shipping and Receiving Clerk will assist Distribution Center Management in achieving operational excellence, by assisting in various operational duties. Candidates for this position must be flexible in their day to day duties, and support TBC’s / NTW’s core values and safety culture.

• Polite and friendly customer interaction at the sales counter
• Invoicing (PGI)
• Apply appropriate payment method
• Obtaining customer signature (proof of delivery)
• Assist in loading customers vehicle
• Identify small parcel orders in SAP Outbound Dashboard
• Create T.O. in SAP
• Create Shipping Labels
• Invoice (PGI) parcel orders
• Assist with inbound shipments (unloading / verifying)
• Assist with outbound shipments (loading / verifying)
• Serve as a back up to primary Ortec user
• Validate return and adjustment paperwork for processing
• Cash handling – validating from drivers
• Other duties as requested or needed

• Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook)
• Must be familiar with bills of lading and be familiar with various other forms that are used and required by the major freight carriers
• High School diploma preferred, with one year of related positions
• Customer service orientation and a high level of professional integrity
• Ability to work well under pressure and handle multiple tasks
• Professional appearance and communication skills
• Proficient in SAP, Ortec, FedEx ship manager and TIPS Back office
• Team player willing to do what is asked of
• Use of computer keyboard and monitor required daily
• Ability to handle tires up to 50 lbs
• Available to work Saturday’s
• Valid Drivers License
• Simple math abilities
• Criminal Background Check and Pre-employment Drug Screen
