Shipping And Receiving Clerk

ABOUT THE ROLE

Responsible for unloading product deliveries, staging products based on customer orders and assisting with organizing and maintaining existing inventory and receiving POs in Evo-ERP System. Will also be responsible for weekly and monthly cycle counts of make, buy-out items, and finished goods.

Essential Functions

• Move freight, stock, or other materials to and from storage or production areas, loading docks, delivery vehicles, or containers, by hand or other equipment.
• Inspect the forklifts daily before use to ensure they are electrically charged and that the gas tanks are filled as needed.
• Will move product or material using a forklift or pallet jack as needed.
• Stock parts and materials using the First In First Out (FIFO) method.
• Sort product before loading and unloading.
• Receive and inspect delivered products, tools, and/or products.
• Communicate with other departments as needed when special components or samples are delivered.
• Print component labels from the EVO-ERP system.
• Attach identifying tags to containers or mark them with identifying information.
• Read work orders or receive order instructions to determine work assignments or materials needed.
• Stack product or materials in locations such as the warehouse areas as directed, using pallets.
• Maintain accurate records of materials received.
• Organize and maintain the finished goods warehouse.
• Install protective devices, such as bracing, padding, or strapping, to prevent shifting or damage to items being transported.
• Maintain equipment storage areas to ensure that inventory is protected.
• Carry needed tools or supplies from storage area and return them after use.
• Palletize product as needed.
• Load trucks as needed.
• Other duties as deemed necessary.

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

• High School Graduate or GED, required
• 2+years Warehouse experience
• 2+years Inventory experience
• 2+ years Forklift experience (Forklift Certified)
• Knowledge – Word, Excel, Outlook
• Must be able to lift/carry/push/pull up to 50 lbs.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.50 - $18.00 per hour
