Position: Shipping and Fulfillment Manager
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the order tracking process
- Ensures orders are processed in accordance with the organization's customer service standards
- Ensure accurate inventory levels are maintained to maximize customer satisfaction and reduce cost
- Preparing and packing orders for shipment
- Use software to track, check, prioritize and route orders
- Manage all important documents such as advanced shipping notice, pick slips, bills of lading etc.
- Direct the flow of packages from preparation to shipment
- Inspect labels, barcodes and other features of completed orders
- Supervise and lead subordinates (receiving clerks, order pickers, etc.)
- Control budget of the shipping department
- Collaborate with warehouse, purchasing and other managers to optimize processes
- Resolve issues regarding shipped orders
- Ensure compliance to legal regulations and company policies
- Report to management on activities and issues
- Coordinate all orders with various departments such as Finance, IT, Data Processing, Shipping and Logistics Team in resolving related issues to meet customer/staff requested ship date/ delivery date (CRSD/ CRDD).
- Liaison with customer on inquiries, order status, shipping information.
- Ensure that Sales Team follows Rules of Engagement in order placement.
- Reviewing and analyzing work processes to identify process improvement programs.
- Establish action plan with team on the improvement of processes and procedure.
- Deal with lose/damage and return of goods.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business or Logistics preferred
- 3 years of management supervision experience required
- Computer savvy
- Experience handling busy e-commerce order fulfillment from multiple sites is a plus
- Familiarity with ECC, Authorize.net and other e-commerce platforms is a plus
- Basic to intermediate Excel skills
- Impeccable customer service skills
- Highly effective project management skills
- Strong organizational skills and problem-solving abilities
- Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds.
- Position requires walking, sitting, lifting, pushing, pulling, and climbing to a significant degree
Skills:
- Experienced in communicating clearly and confidently with senior management
- Experience with multiple entity business
- The ability to multi-task with efficiency, poise and confidence in a fast-paced environment is critical
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Team Player a must
This is full-time Monday to Friday 9am to 6pm, with additional hours/times as needed in Aventura, FL
