Overall Responsibility:

The Shift Leader improves guest satisfaction through operations, financial controls, direction of Team Members, and compliance of BKC policies and procedures. The Shift Manager has full accountability for restaurant operations during assigned shift when management is not present.

This position operates under the direct supervision of the Restaurant Leader and helps direct, train and lead the restaurant team towards 100% guest satisfaction.

Essential Functions and Duties:

· Responsible for restaurant operations during assigned shifts, including opening and closing restaurant

· Provides clear/concise direction to employees

· Sets an example for employees by working hard to implement shift plan and ensure swift and smooth production

· Delegates and encourages teamwork to ensure compliance with company operations standards

· Demonstrates patience and a positive attitude with team

· Motivates employees to exceed guest expectations with quality food and fast/friendly service in clean surroundings

· Ensures team acts on guest feedback and resolves guest complaints in a timely, friendly and professional manner

· Directs, trains and motivates employees during shift at each workstation

· Complies with government regulations, employment laws, food safety, operations, and BKC policies and procedures

· Takes initiative to immediately report violations of safety, sanitation, security, and other company policies to restaurant leader and perform short-term solutions

· Motivates employees to comply with loss control procedures and to maintain a safe and secure environment for guests and other employees

· Completes checklists and procedures for cash reporting, inventory control, and scheduling during shift

· Flexible to work evenings, weekends and holidays

· Prompt and regular attendance on assigned shifts

· Must be physically able to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for long periods, reach and climb, and work with frequent exposure to fluctuating temperatures (cooler, freezer, fryers, broiler)

Qualifications:

Must be 18 years of age * High school diploma or GED * Previous management experience desired * Exhibits leadership qualities * MUST BE ABLE TO WORK OPENS, NIGHTS AND WEEKENDS

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: Up to $14.00 per hour
