Sets up and operates sheeter to sheet rolls of paper into sheets by performing the following duties. The employee who occupies this position is responsible for any/all duties assigned by management irrespective of whether such duties are specifically included in this list. To perform this job successfully, an individual must obey all Safety procedures. Individual must have excellent attendance.
Job Functions:
- Be familiar with the sheetfed requirements
- Review job ticket.
- Conducts make ready as required
- Inspect Sheets from every roll
- Pulling defective sheets as required
- Keep Department Managers and Leads informed of Safety, Quality or Production issues or improvement opportunities.
- Become familiar with technical aspects of Sheeter and be able to troubleshoot
- Work toward achieving department goals
- Clean area around sheeter
- Perform maintenance as required.
- Deliver quality cut loads to Printing Department
- Safely operate a clamp forklift truck
- Enter information into SAP (e.g. scanning rolls)
Job Requirements:
- Knowledge: H.S. Education or equivalent, computer literate.
- Skills: Mechanical, communication.
- Abilities: Good attendance, guide teams/processes, ability to work alone.

Physical Requirements:
- Duties require standing (except breaks and lunch) throughout working shift for 8 to 12 hours.
- Visual acuity at short distances. Needed to detect variances in job numbers, register and collator marks
- Able to lift 10 lb. continuously and occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 lb.
- Occasional climbing, stooping, bending and overhead reaching.
- Frequent walking.
- Fine hand manipulation.
- Grasping and gripping.
- Must be able to work 8 or 12 hour shifts plus overtime as required
- Must be able to work any shift (days/swing/graveyard)
- Must be able to work weekends and holidays as needed.
