RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Read and interprets sketches and work orders for product specifications to determine methods of fabricating, assembling and producing sheet metal parts
• Selects materials to be utilized to meet product specifications.
• Lay out and marks dimensions on materials using marking pens for proper assembly of products.
• Sets up equipment (shear, de-coiler, and stamping presses) per work order specifications.
• Assures that machinery is properly used and maintained for safe and efficient operation.
• Follows safety rules and expectations and uses safe work practices.
• Follows or performs activities critical to Quality Management System.
• Miscellaneous duties as required.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Ability to read and interpret basic sketches and product sheets
• High School/GED Diploma
• Good verbal communication skills and the ability to interact with superiors and co-workers.
• Knowledge of products availability
• Basic mathematical abilities such as measurement processes
• Ability to utilize machinery in a safe manner

Pay: From $15.00 per hour
