LOCATION: Plant 5

SCHEDULE: 1st shift Monday - Thursday 6 am - 4 pm & Friday 6 am - 11 am

Overtime may be required beyond the posted work schedule and may vary on a weekly basis.

Overview of Responsibilities

• Must have sewing skills to sew various types of sewing styles including Topstitch, French Seam, Zig-Zag, Cable Stitch, Surge, repairs of inside and outside upholstery parts and pieces according to specifications and production
• Work with complex fabric
• Comprehend tickets and specifications to ensure accuracy and efficiency
• All other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of furniture sewing experience
• High school diploma or GED preferred
• LEAN Manufacturing experience a plus
• Basic computer knowledge
• Ability to deliver uncompromising quality and detailed craftsmanship
• Ability to work full-time 12 hour shift schedule
• Must be flexible to work overtime when required
• Able to work independently
• Must be able to lift, handle, and carry 25+ lbs
