We are currently looking for a 1st Shift Part-Time Sewer to join our team in Conover, NC.

As a Part Time Sewer, you will:
Perform and have primary responsibility for operation of single and double needle, top stitch, boarder, and serger machines, including, but not limited to, complex set up, adjustments, and operation of various sewing machines. Produce quality complex parts per blueprints, product orders, and engineering specifications, within tolerance. Perform necessary quality checks, machine preventive maintenance, and perform general utility work to meet work schedule. Part Time is defined as a consistent work schedule each week which includes a minimum of 16 hours or a maximum of 29 hours worked.

High school diploma/GED or equivalent (equivalent is defined as 3 years industrial sewing work experience equals 1 year of formal education - this experience cannot be used to meet the experience required below).
4 years experience with operating industrial sewing machines
Ability to lift material/product weighing up to 50 pounds.
Ability to sew fabrics, vinyl, and leather for upholstered furniture.
Ability to work overtime, including weekends and holidays as needed.
Current and continuing right to work in the United States without sponsorship.
Ability to work in Conover, NC without relocation assistance. Do you have these preferred qualifications?

Ability to utilize precision measuring instruments.
