The Servicing Treasury Analyst is responsible for performing various cash, disbursement and analytical activities within the Servicing Treasury function. This position is primarily focused on managing Loan Servicing accounts such as: managing and reporting for bank accounts and audit inquiries (e.g. cash position and electronic payments). The Servicing Treasury Analyst may be required to provide input to or participate in various projects and will perform duties as requested.
· Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting preferred. · MSP and banking experience preferred. · 2+ years’ experience in Corporate Finance, Accounting or Treasury with recent experience in Mortgage Banking; equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. · Strong organization, critical thinking and customer service skills. · Excellent data input skills. · Above average ability in the use of Microsoft Office software, including Outlook,
Word, and Excel. · Ability to handle multiple tasks under tight deadlines. · Ability to learn software and systems used in performing Treasury functions. · Solid written and verbal communication skills. · Ability to multitask and effectively manage time. - Print and distribute disbursement and remittance checks.
- Balance daily check register.
- Electronically process deposits, wires and ACH’s.
- Perform operations relating to bank accounts.
- Furnish analytic support of financial metrics.
- Contribute to the global cash management strategy.
- Identify opportunities for cash management process improvement, monitor and update related documentation.
- Respond to audit inquiries timely; correspond with auditors to confirm bank balances as of a certain date.
- Ensure compliance with SOX, and Policies & Procedures.
- Serve as Subject Matter Expert as it relates to Treasury.
- Report and maintain monthly Key Risk and Key Performance reporting indicators.
Support special projects and any other duties required. - Desire to take personal responsibility to complete tasks and solve problems. Ability to perform tasks and complete projects with minimal supervision.
