Service Data Specialist
Position Summary
The Service Data Specialist is an administrative position that supports Ride Connection staff and partner organizations. This position is responsible for assisting the Lead Service Planner in development and oversight of data management. The Service Data Specialist must work independently and manage multiple projects assigned by the Lead Service Planner. This position includes service data collection, analysis, database management, report generation and auditing of reports. In this position discretion must be exercised in protecting and releasing information.

Lead by Example
Major Duties and Responsibilities
- Maintain Ride Connection’s internal Service Database which captures trip and correlating cost of our transportation Network (internal and external partners)
- Manage Network monthly service data, including entry, audit and analysis
- Collaborate with Ride Connection staff and partners to ensure data is accurate and compliant
- Prepare routine and ad hoc reports and charts primarily using Excel as assigned by the Lead Service Planner, Chief Executive Officer, and Development Department
- Assists in the onboarding of partners and implementation of new services
- Facilitate efficiencies and improvements in data structures
- Serves as a point of contact for partners contacting Ride Connection
- Provides additional support and expertise as required
- Represents Ride Connection in a professional manner to our service partners, our funders, and the community
- Ability to effectively communicate the mission and purpose of Ride Connection
- Develops, maintains and enhances relationships with Ride Connection staff, partners, customers, and supporters with dignity, respect and patience
- Provides superior quality customer service to ensure that each person who requests Ride Connection service is treated with dignity, respect and patience
- Participates in required training programs and attends all staff meetings as required
- Activities of this position actively support inclusive practices that determine the needs and preferences of our target populations
- Adheres to current Ride Connection Personnel Policies
- Participates as a member of the Service Team
- Performs other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
- Demonstrated computer skills and experience and proficient with Microsoft Office, including Excel
- Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
- Ability to exercise good judgment
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and to shift priorities as needed but not lose the thread.
- Ability to work independently on assigned tasks and to make decisions with minimal supervision
- Effective problem-solving skills
- Considerable knowledge of modern office practices and procedures
- Ability to communicate professionally, effectively and pleasantly on the phone, and to take and relay complete messages
- Strong organizational skills, detail oriented, and ability to manage multiple responsibilities within a specified timeline
- Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills with the ability to exercise good judgment, courtesy, and tact in public contact and handling problems
- Ability to work as a team member with a diverse group of people

Preferred Qualifications
· Bachelors degree in a related field
· Experience with data entry, management, and databases
· Knowledge of RouteMatch software
· Experience creating Excel pivot tables and charts
· Experience working with older adults and people with disabilities
· Experience in public or community based transportation
· Experience and passion working for a Non-Profit organization

COVID-19 considerations:
Almost all administrative positions are working remotely due to covid. When work in the office is needed masks are required at all times. Gloves and sanitizer are available, other safety protocols are also in place.
