Job Description

Working at the Wild Owl Café is like working with family! We believe that in order to give our guests the best service, we have to be a team and work together. Currently, we are looking for multiple servers to work the night shift all days of the week.

Candidates must be hardworking, high energy, positive and motivating individuals that love to make others smile. Wild Owl takes pride in their superb customer service and the ability to deliver delicious meals to every table with a smile and personal touch of conversation. Guests should leave feeling heard, entertained and full of food they ordered.

Server Responsibilities:

- Serving tables with superb customer service

- Taking accurate orders - including phone orders

- Answering questions about catering and other services

- Running food to tables and assisting other servers

- Ensuring side jobs such as cutting lemons, filling ice and polishing silverware are completed

- Communicating inventory needs to manager

- Sell and serve beer and wine

- Follow food safety guidelines when serving food and cleaning tables, utensils and equipment

Experience:

- Required:

  • Must have previous experience with POS system
  • Must have five years of server experience
  • Must have reliable transportation
  • Ability to work under pressure, think clearly and make concise decisions
  • Ability to prioritize, organize and follow up on guests, food orders and the phone
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays

- Preferred:

  • Safe Alcohol Handling Certificate
  • Catering experience

Pay Frequency: Weekly

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $11.00 - $13.00 per hour

COVID-19 considerations:
All guests and team wear masks, we ask everyone to practice social distancing and we have limited the number of tables.

During the summer we have and utilize the back patio.
