Job Description
Bed Bath & Beyond is looking for someone passionate about organic search to join our Digital Marketing team. In this role, you will be responsible for helping us to execute the SEO strategy to drive organic search visibility for the Bed Bath and Beyond brands and deliver incremental online and/or in-store revenue.
  • The ideal candidate will have strong foundational knowledge of SEO best practices, and be comfortable looking at numbers to analyze performance and suggest changes to the strategy
  • We are looking for someone eager to leverage the latest digital marketing technologies, improve the effectiveness of search initiatives with the goal of driving business growth
  • This position reports to the SEO Manager and will work closely with our internal content strategy team and agency partner to analyze performance and execute strategic initiatives
  • This position will collaborate with the broader Digital Marketing team to ensure an overall effective and efficient program exists to drive qualified traffic and sales to our brand sites
Scope: Support organic search efforts to drive online traffic and revenue across Bed Bath & Beyond US & Canada and buybuy BABY. Essential Responsibilities:
  • Perform data analysis and keyword research to support ongoing content optimizations
  • Audit existing content strategy and find improvements for both transactional and informational pages
  • Monitor website performance KPIs (ranking visibility, analytics) to determine effectiveness of strategy and drive data informed adjustments
  • Keep pulse on the competitive landscape to identify opportunities and monitor competitive pressures
  • Ability to multitask across multiple projects
  • Ability to interact with multiple teams across, both internally and externally
  • Quick Learner with a passion for problem solving
  • Ensures all tasks are completed in a timely fashion, in accordance with execution dates and guidelines
Education Requirements:
  • Minimum – A Bachelor's degree, with specific training / experience in related field
  • Preferred – A Master’s degree, with specific training / experience in related field
Experience Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of digital marketing experience, with one year directly focused on SEO
  • Retail experience is a plus
  • Highly proficient in MS Excel (Vlookups, Index Match, SUMIF)
  • Experience in Web Analytics (Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, Google AdWords and Tableau)
  • Experience in SEO research and reporting platforms (SEMRush, BrightEdge/Conductor, Google Search Console, Google Keyword Planner)
  • Strong project management skills; ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines, in a busy, fast-paced environment
  • Proficient in MS Office programs: Word, Excel, PowerPoint
