Your Role at MediaLab We’re looking for a versatile Web Developer to join our Marketing team and support a wide array of internal and external initiatives. This role will be initially responsible for the creation and updating of our external facing website with additional responsibilities surrounding client facing projects. What You'll Do
  • Own marketing-related web design projects including but not exclusive to MediaLab’s online presence.
  • Enhance user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) on MediaLab’s external facing website.
  • Perform search engine optimization effectively for a variety of internal clients including recruiting and sales.
  • Lead design on client facing projects such as microsites that include web design elements as part of advertisement programs and experiences.
  • Digital retouching as well as image and/or video editing on various pieces of internal and external content when needed.
  • SME on recent technological and software developments for best in class execution.
What We're Searching For
  • A Bachelor's degree is preferred but not required.
  • 4+ years of web development experience
  • Proficiency with CSS, HTML, Javascript, JQuery, and server side language such as PHP.
  • Utilization of a version control system, preferably Git.
  • Exposure to both Chrome & Firefox web dev tools.
  • Strong handle of a variety of video and/or design software such as Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Premiere, etc.
  • Understanding of automated testing methodologies and best practices.
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a distributed team environment to complete projects successfully.
