Job Description
Your Job The SMB Platform team is looking for a strong frontend engineer, who is eager to be responsible for the user interface platforms used internally by teams at Indeed. You will build the new UI infrastructure frameworks for SMB Engineering. Your primary customers are all other SMB Engineers. You’ll bring a wealth of skill and experience in JavaScript, front-end best practices, and API architecture to our product team, and be ever-vigilant about the performance, accessibility, and sustainability of the solutions you’re developing together. You and your team will release new code frequently, and use Indeed’s robust A/B testing system to understand and iterate on the changes you’re making to help people get jobs.

- BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics or a closely related computer technical field with 5+ years experience programming with at least one of the following languages: Javascript, Java, C++, C#, Python, Go, or Perl;
- MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics or a closely related computer technical field with 3+ years experience programming with at least one of the following languages: Javascript Java, C++, C#, Python, Go, or Perl.
- Minimum 3 years professional experience in front-end engineering, including experience working on at least one public-facing product with a global presence and significant traffic.
- Comfort with “vanilla” Javascript and strong experience with React.
- Significant experience with large scale, high-performance systems.
