Senior Software Developer
Our ERP software serves as the heart for many different businesses managing their day to day operations. We are making improvements and enhancements daily to mission critical components that drive growth across multiple industries. Our team is constantly translating the complex business needs of our clients and turning them into simple, actionable solutions within DEACOM. We are looking for likeminded people, who can make the complex simple, to join our mission.
We work across multiple industries with multiple clients, exposing us to a wide variety of unique challenges. One week you will be working on designing a new inventory tracking system, eliminating wasted floor space in the warehouse, and the next you will be implementing new interfaces into an eCommerce system, allowing customers to track prior purchases and recommend new products. At Deacom you will be in a position to design the future solutions to these challenges.
Job Highlights:
- Lead the design and implementation of our core application architecture. You will have the opportunity to create the base upon which we build our platform. Apply your skills to the creation of an eCommerce API, an overhaul of an embedded warehouse management system in Xamarin, or the creation of a predictive inventory tracking system. The space of ERP software has no shortage of challenges that require your attention.
- Challenge yourself by working with some of the newest technologies to advance the software. Stay current on leading cross platform development trends with the use of Xamarin and C# 8.0 features.
- Have an idea? Run with it! We welcome and encourage people who like to think outside the box, finding new solutions to industry challenges.
- Our office has a wide range of collaborative and breakout spaces. If you need a space where you and several others can think things through on a whiteboard, you’ve got it.
- Flex your design skills. We do not try to place features into a box, forcing you to follow certain patterns. You will be given the freedom to pursue the best approach to implementing solutions.
- We offer a casual dress code and flexible working hours to fit with your life.
The Skills:
- 5+ years object-oriented programming experience.
- A go to team resource able to resolve issues and mentor junior developers.
- Extensive experience writing and designing queries in Microsoft SQL Server.
- Ability to effectively communicate ideas to team members with varying levels of technical expertise.
- Experience with LINQ syntax.
Bonus Points:
- Experience with JavaScript and jQuery.
- Experience working with NUnit and Xamarin frameworks.
- Experience developing an ERP system.
This job is not a remote position and is located in Chesterbrook, PA. Relocation assistance is not available but anyone is welcome to apply. Deacom, Inc. does not sponsor employment visas. Recruiters, please do not respond to this posting. Deacom Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
