We are currently seeking a Senior Security Engineer to join our team in Addison, Texas (US-TX), United States (US).
The Senior Security Engineer will work closely with the Information Security Manager (ISM) to ensure the seamless delivery of all information security services that NTT DATA provides to the customer
Day to Day Responsibilities.
- Review and respond to Security Incidents, track and collaborate on its timely resolution.
- Monitor and resolve incidents coming from multiple sources such as Service Now and SIEM system.
- Monitor end-user reports of potentially malicious emails that other security layers may have missed. Analyze incidents using multiple security systems such as the Proofpoint email gateway, Darktrace, Carbon Black, as well as Microsoft Office Security and Compliance tools and Windows Defender ATP.
- Monitor security incident tickets to ensure security events are being properly serviced and that associated SLAs are met.
- Provide technical support for User Provisioning/InfoSec, troubleshooting problems with provisioning of Windows shares, NTFS folder permissions, Active Directory rights assignments.
- Contribute and provide support to the establishment and enforcement of standards (naming, process, etc.).
- Responsible for producing various annual and ad hoc security and compliance reports using Quest Enterprise Reporter.
- Work across various Security support teams to assemble required reports for weekly and monthly security operations client meetings.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and customer on security projects and provide security guidance/recommendations wherever needed.
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in the following:
- MS Office tools such as Word, PowerPoint, and Excel in order to analyze complex data sets and generate required reports.
- Risk management
- Information security internal & external audits, contract compliance, and quality initiatives
- Security tools like Firewall, VPN, Antivirus, IPS/IDS, Content Filtering, etc. Knowledge of SIEM/SOC, Vulnerability Management, etc. Collect and analyze their reports for tracking and trending (trend chart) and distribution to executive stakeholders/customers.
- Maintain conclusive reports and statistics for each of the security services.
Desired Qualifications:
- At least one of the following certifications: CISSP, CISM, SSCP or CEH
- Microsoft technologies and their interaction with Linux and other operating systems:
- Active Directory and Azure Active Directory
- SQL Server
- Azure
- OneDrive
- Ability to write MS PowerShell and SQL scripting.
- Customer relationship management experience.
- Knowledge and application of Globally Accepted Information Security Principles
- Working knowledge of network and endpoint security systems such as Darktrace, Cisco Firepower, Carbon Black Response, Carbon Black Defense, and FireEye.
- Knowledge of SIEM/SOC (LogRhythm & ServiceNow)
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Security and Compliance Tools
- Experience using Quest Enterprise Reporter
- Capability to perform basic forensic analysis utilizing data from various tools and technologies.
- Working knowledge of email and web gateway security systems such as Proofpoint email
- Strong knowledge of network security that pertains to communications, computer system environments, and related infrastructures
- Advanced verbal and written communications skills with the ability to communicate information to a variety of audiences
- Organizational skills and ability to work on multiple projects and/or assignments simultaneously.
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate cross-functional teams toward task completion
