ULTRA MOBILE is seeking a talented Sr. Sales Manager to join the Plum Team! Individual reports to Sr. Director of Sales, Plum. Role is remote; must reside in the United States.
ABOUT THE ROLE
This position will identify and develop growth opportunities for the wholesale business. The position will primarily focus on driving incremental volume for one of the company's wholesale business lines: Plum Solutions.
Your usual day of awesomeness includes:
- Drive increased revenue and profit to achieve the Company's growth plan.
- Manage a team of Business Development Managers and have overall ownership for the business line funnel and bringing deals to close.
- Work with the strategy/pricing team to prepare pricing term sheets and gain VP approval.
- Negotiate business terms with potential partners and escalate items as appropriate.
- Continually assesses the customer's needs and has the ability to solve customer requests and problems. Offers solutions that may include additional service offerings.
- Provide market feedback on current products and offerings to help identify gaps in the product line and aid in creation of new products.
- Planning and coordinating the implementation of business plans and the penetration of new markets.
- Works closely with cross functional internal leadership to ensure all projects meet internal and external requirements and specifications.
- Continually maintain the pace and performance of deliverables on all projects.
- Responsible for communicating new and/or ongoing customer requirements and or changes to programs.
- Ensures the timely accomplishment of all customer requests and changes.
- Report on sales progress and key pursuits via funnel status.
- Identify additional resources and support when required to ensure overall success.
WHAT YOU BRING
- Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university; and
- 4+ years of Wireless Industry, preferred.
- 4+ years of progressively broader manager roles, preferably in a Business Development or Sales role.
- Proven successful sales and/or business development experience preferably in a wholesale and/or telecom environment.
- Prior success meeting and exceeding performance goals and requirements.
- Strong account relationship and problem-solving skills, creative, driven, and self-motivated, with ability to work independently and with a team.
- Skilled negotiator including the ability to take direction or resolve issues independently.
- Excellent sales closing skills with the innate ability to overcome objections and obstacles throughout the sales process.
- Strong oral and written communication skills with the instinctive ability to be adaptable to an ever-changing environment.
- Strong presentation skills and working knowledge on Microsoft Office and Google suite.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Demonstrated ability to stay calm under pressure and meet assigned deadlines
- Salesforce experience.
- Ability to travel including overnight travel.
