In this role, you will support the Corel GSO and Finance teams with designing the sales compensation plans, incentive programs, territory alignment and quota methodology. The role will further support to drive consistency, data quality and built effective metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of the sales compensation plans. The individual will collaborate with multi-disciplinary team to develop the total sales compensation strategy. The right candidate thrives in a fast-paced culture that values effective communication, teamwork, and results. The candidate will be a self-motivated, detail-oriented individual with the desire for process improvement, analytical analysis, and problem-solving requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide support in design and creation of sales compensation plans and incentive programs to drive strategic initiatives and support company objectives
  • Create compensation models, sensitivity analysis and conduct statistical analysis
  • Drive the development of sales compensation communication materials for the multiple sales groups
  • Continuous improvement in sales quota methodology and deployment process
  • Perform analytical analysis to optimize the territorial expansion and alignment across multiple sales groups
  • Build and maintain reports, dashboards, and metrics and monitor the integrity and validity of the sales compensation plans
  • Analyze trends in sales compensation and territory alignment and build intelligence through reporting

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience in building sales compensation plan, quota, and territory design
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Excellent analytical, project management and problem-solving skills
  • Experience working and communicating with large sales team and relevant stakeholders
  • Familiarity with sales alignment, territory planning, reporting and analytics
  • Strong presentation and communication skills with the ability to articulate complex issues and ideas
  • Self-starter who loves taking initiative and proactively provide suggestions to streamline and improve processes
  • Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with total discretion
  • Ability to influence and collaborate with the management team
  • Strong sense of urgency with a demonstrated record of meeting commitments
  • Responsible for analysis of the incentive plans for enterprise, indirect and carrier sales channels, sales support representatives, sales leadership
  • Operate as a member of the annual planning team completing analysis and modeling.
  • Make recommendations on sales incentive structure for the year, aligning structure to objectives, completing analysis to support recommendations or validate structure and align to budgets.
  • Manage one off or special incentive programs from a documentation, analysis, proposal, creation and tracking perspective.
  • Prepare quarterly analysis for executive compensation review, providing analysis of plan effectiveness, payouts by component, payments versus performance and recommended changes.
  • Perform detailed trend analysis aligned to business budgets and targets.
  • Analyze commission dispute data and make recommendations on improvements to plan structure, automation, process or sales training.
  • Create monthly analysis of paid compensation against monthly budget and revenue plans
  • Execute ad hoc analysis as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Software and SaaS industry experience is a plus
  • Experience using various tools such as Salesforce.com, Tableau, SalesLoft and NetSuite to help design and build sales compensation plan, quota, and territory design
  • Strong analytical skill, ability to conceptualize data trends and make recommendations on business improvements
  • A ‘systems’ thinker with strong process orientation and logical reasoning skills.
  • Must be a proactive, self-driven learner with a high degree of intellectual curiosity
  • Superior interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
  • Ability to partner with business leaders and develop strong working relationships
  • Strong MS Excel skills, including complex formula building, IF statement, v-lookups and pivots
  • Excellent organizational skills, with extreme attention to detail, accuracy, and accountability
  • Ability to multi-task, adapt to multiple demands and shifting/competing priorities, and deliver high quality work in a high-paced environment
