We seek a highly motivated individual to join the team with credit risk experience who engages with our team plus business and risk partners to create recurring and ad hoc reports and perform and document analysis of the results to explain drivers of change. You will be r esponsible for capital impact analysis, ad hoc analysis, production coding for processing and reports and creating and maintaining evidence and documentation required by policy.

In this role, you will:
- Create, combine, and manipulate large data sets
- Execute controls and validation steps to ensure completeness and accuracy of results including Reconciliation and other controls
- Resolve data, production, business modeling, and lead team to meet Risk Analytics deliverables while leveraging solid understanding of risk reporting policies, modeling strategies, procedures, regulatory requests, and compliance requirements
- Create reports and then review and analyze results for Capital Impact Analysis (CIA) to ensure results look as expected and when needed create custom CIA reports to look into variances to explain drivers of change
- Create, maintain, and enhance robust documentation to meet Governance & Oversight requirements including process documentation, data derivation, assumptions & interpretations, and control documentation
- Draft, maintain and enhance qualitative model development documentation
- Partner with independent control execution employees, the model implementation team and modeling team on projects and analysis as needed
- Enhance production process documentation to ensure consistent execution, avoid errors and provide for cross training of new team members
- Make decisions independently based on general guidelines to improve existing processes and programs and to meet new requirements from business partners or due to regulatory changes or portfolio changes
- Lead projects, teams, and mentor less experienced staff
- Contribute to information requests for audits, exams and other oversight as needed.
- 4+ years of Risk Analytics experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- Experience writing SAS or SQL code and ensuring the code runs successfully with the ability to successfully remediate code issues that arise both with existing code and newly developed or updated code
- Ability to work with large data sets to ensure that the results are complete and accurate and to analyze outcomes and explain changes to results in the current period compared with prior period(s)
- Ability to meet deadlines and successfully execute recurring quarterly & monthly processes on time
- Attention to detail and ability to self-check outputs to ensure completeness & accuracy of results, successfully perform and self-review required data validations and document identified exceptions and issues before submitting to a manager or another team member for formal review and sign-off
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to document complex processes so auditors, model validators and other business partners /interested parties understand the process, why each specific step is performed, and to ensure required documentation templates are complete and accurate for specific purposes
- Desire to learn new things and take on projects that do not have defined criteria established yet.
- Background knowledge of Consumer Mortgage Lending; Basel or other Regulatory Reporting; and ability to understand and write model development documents
