Position Description
The Senior Quality Analyst will be responsible for Value-Based Incentive Program initiatives. This includes researching, organizing and managing the process for corporate-wide reporting and forecasting incentive dollar returns. These programs include but are not limited to Meaningful Use and GPRO which have different federal and state enrollment, participation and reporting requirements.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Ongoing analysis and evaluation of current USMM Value-Based Incentive Programs
- Ongoing research of opportunities associated with new Value-Based Incentive Programs and application to the company
- Annual analysis, evaluation, and forecast of current and potential company eligible Federal and State Value-Based Incentive Programs
- Creation of annual Value-based Incentive Programs plan
- Project management to ensure coordination of various departments to ensure consistent departmental processes for reporting
- Work in close partnership with leadership, management, Finance and Information Technology to monitor and maximize reimbursement for these programs
- Works with Compliance to provide required documentation
- Serve as Subject Matter Expert (SME) maintaining current knowledge of Value-Based Incentive Program(s’) timelines, requirements, specifications, processes, etc.
- Create and maintain documentation required/needed to support the program(s)
- Act as the primary Value-Based Incentive Program liaison between Quality Management, Operations, Finance and Information Technology
- Participate in special projects as needed or assigned
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance/Math/Computer Science
- 2-5 years of related experience
- Ability to translate data into useful information and to communicate key findings and assumptions in concise fashion to management for decision making purposes
- Critical analytical thinking, problem solving, organization and time management skills with strong attention to details
- Ability to prioritize and effectively handle multiple concurrent projects
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Demonstrate initiative, self-motivation and ownership of responsibilities. Must be a self-starter
- Ability to interact with multiple levels of the organization
- Effective project management skills, including managing to project timelines and overcoming obstacles
- Advanced MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Access
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
- Healthcare claims data experience or related field
- SQL experience
