. Requirements:

Duties and Responsibilities

Proposal Duties:

  • Manage RFQ/RFP opportunities and tracking, including logging and status updates
  • Manage Go-No-Go process and compliance
  • Work collaboratively with Marketing Director and BD Director to develop strategies for winning proposals and shortlist interviews.
  • Manage and produce complex proposal lifecycle development from kickoff to closeout, including writing, editing, proofreading, design, technical staff coordination, scheduling + deadline compliance, quality control, production, and post-production
  • Manage and produce shortlist interview processes from kickoff to closeout, including presentation development, editing, proofreading, design, staff coordination, scheduling, meeting logistics, quality control, production, team coaching for presentation, practice runs, leave behind, technology and supporting materials
  • Work collaboratively with proposal development staff to be first line of defense in ensuring quality in content, messaging, strategy, and design
  • Facilitate debrief meetings, log notes, and formulate strategies for future pursuits
  • Coach proposal team through kickoffs
  • Research trends in proposal development and submission
  • Participate in client mapping / capture planning activities
  • Assist Business Development with client assistance efforts as needed
  • Work collaboratively with the Marketing Director to monitor and refine processes and best practices
  • Develop and track relationships with partner vendors (architects, other engineering firms)
  • Manage Client Feedback Tool for feedback and follow up

Marketing Duties:

  • Participate in Business Development meetings and take minutes and prepare action items
  • Manage on-site promotional items and company store orders
  • Collaborate with marketing team on special activities (content development, internal activities, project work, editing, proofreading, collaborating)
  • Once COVID restrictions are lifted, this position will also be expected to absorb conference and event coordination, including scheduling, logistics and materials preparation

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years in the AEC Industry with direct proposal and presentation experience
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office. Previous examples of proposal and presentation development will be expected.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Multidiscipline firm experience
  • Degree in Marketing, English, Journalism, or Communications

Working Conditions

The applicant should be prepared for extended hours based on deadlines. Working lunches may be required periodically. Travel with overnight stays may be required periodically.

Physical Requirements

The applicant should be able to work at a computer for an extended period. Lift 15lbs or less as required. Operate a vehicle with a valid driver’s license.
