Proposal Manager - Federal Opportunities

We provide a variety of services to the majority of federal agencies for these markets.
Opportunity:
An integral part of Parsons overall growth and stability is securing large-scale programs with Federal agencies such as the Department of Defense (DoD), Department of Energy (DOE) and Homeland Security. Developing winning proposals is a key to our success. As such, we have a team of dedicated capture managers, technical writers, editors, graphic artists, desktop publishers, proposal coordinators, estimators, cost volume managers and proposal managers who support the proposal process from its inception to final the proposals. Parsons is currently seeking a proposal manager with a proven track-record to join this elite team.
Responsibilities:
Our Proposal Managers' focus is to develop compliant, comprehensive, and compelling submittals. The successful candidate will have a successful track-record of managing, scheduling, editing, and producing multi-volume Federal proposals. You will be responsible for leading the proposal team's execution of Parsons' proposal process, proposal content, adherence to requirements and format, and managing our proposal team's activities in order to win. Exhibiting an encouraging, diplomatic demeanor and willingness to devote significant time and attention to delivering a winning proposal are the keys to success in this role. The position is located in Centreville, VA.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of managing multi-volume proposals that have resulted in Federal contract awards
- In depth understanding of compliance with Government RRP/RFQ’s.
- Capable of creating complete and compelling outlines and/or storyboards
- Ability to contribute to developing an overall win strategy and experience with cost volumes a plus
- Applicants selected for employment will be subject to a federal background investigation and must meet additional eligibility requirements for access to classified information or materials.
- Bachelors Degree in related field.
- Current Top Secret/SCI clearance or eligibility is strongly preferred.
