Position Summary:
The Senior Product Leader (SPL), Electronic Health Record (EHR) and Care Content, is a clinical domain Product Leader who is tasked with Electronic Health Record Content Strategy and Care Content Distribution through PointClickCare Applications. They are responsible for ensuring EHR modules, products and associated services are compliant with industry standards, aligned with market demand, meeting or exceeding customer expectations, and exceeding revenue targets. At a high level, the SPL for EHR and Care Content is responsible for:

  • Maintaining compliance with Electronic Health Record content requirements across segments and geographies
  • Establishing and managing strategic relationships with internal and external content stakeholders
  • Working closely with PointClickCare Market Segment Teams to identify and prioritize content needs
  • Coordinating content and functional product roadmaps
  • Driving value propositions for Care Content and associated services
  • Maturing Content Distribution Strategy and Infrastructure
  • Defining production milestones, success metrics and go-to-market efforts for content solutions
  • Establishing and maintaining quality and training programs for Content Partners
  • Ensuring partner and customer satisfaction and adoption

Key Responsibilities:
    • Leading the overall Care Content strategy for PointClickCare
    • Maintaining EHR content compliance road map across geographies
    • Envisioning viable new concepts/ideas, supporting the Content Strategy and market position/goals of care delivery products, with a focus on understanding business problems
    • Iteratively testing concepts with customers to inform decisions
    • Overseeing team’s approved product development projects through the planning, definition, development, testing, and pre-launch phases, in conjunction with Product Engineering and Product Leaders and collaborating cross-functionally
    • Ensuring successful launch of content and associated services in coordination with functional product managers within Care Management
    • Engaging the market and leveraging Customer Advisory Groups to validate that proposed solutions meet the needs of PointClickCare Customers
    • Conducting ongoing in-depth research and analysis for Care Content and associated services by tracking success, staying abreast of changing customer needs and industry trends, monitoring secondary research and market data, and collecting and summarizing customer feedback.
    • Driving results through effective communication by building rapport, anticipating and preparing for questions, communicating calmly under pressure and being a good listener
    • Maintaining performance standards if working remotely (where applicable)
    • Representing PointClickCare with a high degree of knowledge, integrity and professionalism
Required Experience:
    • Prior experience managing commercial software products through the entire software development lifecycle.
    • Relevant direct experience in the clinical domain—focus on nursing care and/or the Senior Care market preferred
    • Bachelor's Degree and/or experience in Healthcare Informatics
    • Previous experience participating in marketing, sales, and market research activities.
    • Strong skills communicating effectively with internal and external stake holders, both orally and in writing.
    • Working knowledge of standard clinical concepts/terminology e.g. SNOMED, LOINC, UMLS and other applicable standards.
    • Bachelor’s Degree in informatics, business, computer science, finance, information technology, or healthcare-related related field of study; or content management experience in the EHR segment.
    • Experience working in an Agile software development process, preferably Scrum.
