We need an experienced Product Manager to join our team! We're looking for candidates with a technical background who have experience as a Product Manager with analytics-based products. Candidates should enjoy crafting and selling a vision, gathering requirements from users, creating and managing a roadmap, and working with the Analytics/Engineering team to break down and prioritize work. We're looking for someone with a proven track record demonstrating measurable business impact, who can understand and influence technology decisions, and someone who can thrive in ambiguous situations while being a true great teammate. What you will work on

You will drive the strategy, roadmap, and priorities for the Analytics components of the Pre-Season Assortment Planning solutions. You will gather requirements from cross-functional partners within Nike. You will define and prioritize stories that allow us to build world-class solutions. You will work closely with analytics and engineering teams to deliver on program and sprint objectives and commitments. You will build assets that sell the vision, enable others, and build excitement.

Who you will work with

You will work within the Commercial Analytics team as a leader for your squad of Data Scientists and Engineers. You will also collaborate across the broader organization including working closely with DSM Product Management, Technology, UX, and the Planners to deliver solutions that solve critical business problems as Nike accelerates its Consumer Direct and Supply Chain of the Future strategies.

What you bring
  • Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) or higher in computer science, mathematics, statistics, economics, engineering or equivalent; or equivalent combination of education and experience and training
  • 6+ year of experience in product management, leading analytics solutions, or software development
  • Experience managing an Analytics-based product, with Data Science experience a plus.
  • Knowledge of digital and physical retail planning, merchandising, allocation, and operational processes a plus.
  • Outstanding written/oral, organizational, analytical abilities, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to lead robust, cross-functional teams.
  • Proven ability to be a Product advocate; can describe the Product, its value, how it works, how it is adopted, speak to upcoming changes and tailor the information to the audience.
  • Ability to prioritize competing needs and make decisions in ambiguous situations.
  • Experience utilizing both qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis techniques to prove business value.
  • In-depth understanding of technology systems and the ecosystem the team works in to help team in overcoming roadblocks.
  • Comprehensive understanding of Agile methodologies and principles such as Scrum, LEAN, Kanban, and XP Programming, and how they’re applied in workplace culture.
  • This role is open to work in Boston, MA or Beaverton, OR.
