The Senior Cloud Infrastructure Consultant will be responsible for the implementation of a variety of IT cloud solutions. Responsibilities for this role will include team leadership, promoting innovative solutions within hybrid and cloud-based networking, virtualization, infrastructure and secure endpoint environments to implement best practices across cloud technologies.

This role will be able to demonstrate knowledge with the implementation and/or support of hybrid environments. Cloud experience within infrastructure platforms is required. This candidate will exhibit a consultative communication style to clients on cloud solutions. (Willing to train additional infrastructure fundamentals)

The cloud infrastructure skills to be able to design, present, troubleshoot and implement infrastructure solutions including some or all of the following:

• Azure or AWS Cloud solutions to promote innovative technologies to solve business problems
• Some virtualization experience with Hyper-V and/or VMware
• Basic networking, switching and routing experience (firewall skills a plus)
• Knowledge of Microsoft Endpoint Manager (System Center), Enterprise Mobility + Security (EMS) or Azure Active Directory
• Microsoft Suite of products to include but not limited to Office 365, Azure, Windows Server and related cloud technologies
• Business acumen to develop and present client roadmaps
• Ability to coach junior peers or lead a project team
• Other duties as required

Qualifications

Education:

• High school diploma or GED, required
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or equivalent business experience, preferred

Experience:

• Four (4) or more years of technical infrastructure implementation experience with increasing responsibility within Cloud Solutions or Microsoft Stack, required
• Some background in server virtualization (Hyper-V or VMware), Active Directory and networking, required
• Aptitude for working in a consulting environment, required

Technology:
One or more of the following, required:

• Amazon Web Services (AWS)
• Azure
• Office 365
• Virtualization in Hyper-V or VMware
• Enterprise Mobility + Security

Other Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Knowledge of EMS for security, governance and centralized authentication is preferred
• Must have excellent organizational and project management skills; as well as, strong written and verbal communication skills
• Must be open to local travel to client sites, if needed
