As the Senior Manager of People Development, North America you will lead performance consultation focused on developing, designing, and implementing critical learning solutions that improve team member value proposition. You will build relationships with multiple business unit leaders to support Micron’s goals and strategic objectives through People Development and other cross functional groups. You will also be a key consultant to our executive/senior business leaders and HR Partners on learning and development challenges and needs of the organization and its people to help prepare our global workforce for future success.

Key Capabilities
  • Lead and represent the People Development function in North America (and the global Technology & Products Group function)
  • Implement and execute priority/programs for employee experience development areas like - leadership and team member development, performance & talent management, and onboarding.
  • Provide thought leadership and conduct external research on current practices and innovation to develop and enable leaders, managers, and teams.
  • Utilize technology for development (Micron University, Workday, eLearning, and virtual programs).
  • Develop learning and talent solutions, in partnership with Leadership and HR teams
  • Build trusting relationships with our employees, managers, leaders, and HR Business Partners at the geographical, site and functional level.
  • Shape, customize and implement premier development strategies that provide feedback and address challenging conversations and interactions as needed.
  • Lead development engagements to increase team performance starting from diagnosis and evaluation strategies, to design and delivery. Provide one on one coaching to managers and leaders.
  • Distill complex information into key insights, clear recommendations and actions plans, while managing the implementation of development solutions.
  • Track and analyze metrics, and provide recommendations to improve the learning and program experience.
  • Continuously assess the effectiveness of solutions and provide feedback/recommendations to enable the business and ensure team member success.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Passion for learning, increasing team member and leader capability and achieving business results through learning & development.
  • Demonstrable track record of establishing relationships, influencing leaders and being a trusted strategic partner.
  • Experience in adapting content and conversations to meet the needs of your audience through use of data analytics, influencing and reporting.
  • Experience designing and delivering learning programs to reflect knowledge in adult learning principles, both inside and outside of traditional classroom environments.
  • Demonstrated experience in communicating complex processes into simple and easy to understand concepts and leading strategic projects with cross-functional teams with a high level of execution.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree, Master’s preferred
  • Minimum 15+ years of experience in an L&D, Talent Development, HR Business Partner or similar organization
